Tiny Shining Experiment

This 11 second clip was the result of a riso-animation workshop led by Lisa Armstrong at the School of Design, UIC. Our group sought to reframe a clip of popular media. Since someone in the group had a love for horror, the terrifying scene from The Shining seemed like the right pick. We reprinted the frames on the risograph and doodled over them before rescanning back into motion. I manipulated the sound design to further neutralize the scene.
